Three new housing projects in Berlin: "An der Mole" with AFF Architekten after a successful Masterplanning process (picture). In addition - together with Blumers Architekten - the exterior design of new buildings on Waidmannsluster Damm and on the Massower Straße.

The capital invests in science and our new competition partnership with Heinle, Wischer and partners architects achieved two successes: a 3rd place for a new building of a laboratory for the Beuth University and a 2nd place for a new building for mathematics and IMoS of the TU Berlin (picture).

SBL successfully convinced the board of the Archbishop theological seminar in a competitive procedure with their design of the open space for the young priest. We're trying to answer the question how an open space can serve young priest in their apprenticeship. We very much looking forward to this challenge.

The garden of the Spanish-German Kita El Mundo de los Niños in Weißensee is completed. The photographer Christo Libuda has made us very happy with his extraordinary series of pictures showing children playing in the sunshine.

After last year's successful Kick-off event, we have continued with our series of talks about designing as a landscape architect. As part of the 'Day of Architecture' we focused on the theme 'Play'. We would like to say thank you to all our audience for the inspirational discussion and we looking forward to next year.

SBL was invited to draw up a corporate architecture and a guidance system for the new mobility center in Bressanone in South Tyrol. The result: A lot of fun in the designing process ... and a fourth place!

We are pleased about the first prize at the competition Alice-Salomon-School in Berlin-Hellersdorf (picture) with BHBVT Architects and a third prize at the competition Ullrich-von-Hutten-School in Frankfurt Oder with AV1 Architects. Spring can come!

The Protestant church community in Overath near Cologne wants a new church. Together with Springer Architects, SBL emerged as the winner of the competition. Now the planning phase for the gentle modeling with the aim of the appropriate staging of the new hillside chapel starts.

The new playgarden of the Inhouse-Kita of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Berlin-Mitte is almoust completed. We are looking forward to see happy kids faces and more pictures of the project in the new year.

... for a Idea competition. Hyparschale, Stadthalle und Albinmüller-Turm enrich the Rotehorninsel with their cultural identites. By using the motto "cultivation of the peculiarities" these identities were elaborated and emphasized.

The new home for people with cognitive disabilities in Berlin Lichterfelde was inaugurated. There was a fire bowl, mulled wine, a medieval fashion show and many satisfied faces. The new building was designed by Urbane Prozesse, SBL designed the green residential garden for the residents and their guests.

"The urban design concept shown from the perspective of a visitor is particularly appreciated. By designing a new square the character of the place is highlighted in a way that makes this contribution unique." (excerpt of the jury's statement)

A successful Day of Architecture is over. In keeping with this year's motto "Architecture for All!" SBL and their guests discussed the relationship between functional frameworks and design requirements for open spaces from different perspectives. We remain on this topic!

At the end of March a referendum on the future of Bolzanos central bus station area took place. 64,39 percent of the citizens have voted for the project "Kaufhaus Bozen" and thus for the redesign of the park at the main station.

The project student dorm at Chiemgaustraße in Munich with Geier Maass Architects is exhibited in Munichs Department of Urban Planning. 38 competition results can be seen, which are now current and future construction projects from all over the city.

The Technical University of Berlin remembers within a commemoration ceremony to Prof. Hans Loidl (1944-2015). Among many other Stefan Bernard reflects in his contribution the outstanding importance of Hans Loidl for landscape architecture as a design discipline.

Stefan Bernard is member of the jury of the Irish Landscape Institute (ILI) Awards 2015 at daytime and describes at the evening within the event "ILI Practice lecture" the design methodology of SBL on the example of the projects Spittelmarkt and Eberbach Monastary.

After successful completion of an extra-occupational training at the Chamber of Architects Berlin, Sandra Rösler is a "Surveyor for accessibility" in buildings, open spaces and urban developments. We are delighted and look forward to new tasks related with this.

The project student dorm Munich with Geier Maass architects was awarded with the prize for good housing 2015. In this way, exemplary residential complexes with innovative approaches are awarded and recommended for imitation to the Munich builders.

As part of this year's nationwide day of architecture, SBL invites all interested to the construction site of the garden at the tam. family centre. With a sensible park design in front of the main station as an attractive junction and relaxation area: a green citizens' park in the heart of the city.

For the second time SBL win together with Geier Maas Architects a competition for a student dorm in Munich, this time in the Chiemgaustraße. The design presents itself in spite of its open and delicate development as a self-contained block - as a unit.
