Out of print for a long time, now available again: "Open(ing) Spaces – Design as Landscape Architecture" by Hans Loidl and Stefan Bernard, according to anthos "an indispensable tool". In the foreword of the new edition, Stefan explains the history of the origins of "Freiräume(n)” and emphasizes the ongoing topicality of the design.

Also as part of the Day of Architecture, we open our office doors (Monumentenstraße 33-34, 10829 Berlin) to interested visitors. A good opportunity to learn more about our work or to spend a nice afternoon with our team.

This semester, Stefan Bernard's BHT students are looking at landscape architecture from the exciting 90ies and then going in search of contemporary and, in the given context, meaningful as well as convincing open space designs for the Tilla Durieux Park in Berlin.

The first issue of "Garten + Landschaft" was dedicated to the icons of landscape architecture in the 90ies. In the role of a contemporary witness Stefan Bernard was asked to answer seven questions about landscape architecture in former times. His quote embellishes the cover.
