University Medicine Augsburg

Development of the medical faculty of the university of Augsburg at the location of the existing clinic. Task. An urban design for the developing campus with a first expansion area and two designs for a first teaching building and a first research building. Together with BHBVT architects, an overall structure with a strong identity was developed, consisting of well-structured building volumes and varied open spaces along a "string of pearls" consisting of promenade and squares. It connects the clinic with the new buildings, provides orientation and is a meeting place at the same time.
